Dr. Temple Grandin
Dr. Temple Grandin has dedicated her life to advocating for the well-being of animals. Her pioneering work in livestock handling has revolutionized our understanding and care for animals. As a professor, consultant, author, and speaker, she has influenced countless professionals and pet owners worldwide.
Diagnosed with autism at a young age, Dr. Grandin overcame significant challenges to earn advanced degrees in animal science. Her unique insights into animal behavior have led to groundbreaking innovations in livestock handling systems. She is also the subject of an Emmy Award-winning film that brought her story to a wider audience.
In early 2024, she joined Fear Free’s advisory board, further extending her impact on animal welfare. Dr. Grandin will be hosting book signings at the Fear Free and CASCO Pet stands at London Vet Show, offering a unique opportunity for fans and professionals to meet her and gain insights from her extensive knowledge and experience.

Dr. Marty Becker, founder of Fear Free, has dedicated his life to improving the health and well-being of pets and the people who love them. With over 23 books and numerous appearances on national platforms, Dr. Becker is a leading voice in reducing fear, anxiety, and stress in pets.
Fear Free is an organisation founded by Dr. Becker in 2016. Its mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets by inspiring and educating the people who care for them. Fear Free offers science-based, behavior-led strategies to create a more comfortable and stress-free environment for pets. This includes providing online education and certification programs for veterinary professionals, pet professionals, animal welfare communities, and pet owners.
Dr. Becker’s work with Fear Free has been transformative in the field of companion animal practice, emphasizing the importance of both physical and emotional well-being for pets. Through Fear Free, he continues to make a significant impact on the lives of pets and their owners worldwide.
Following the success of our collaboration with Dr Becker at last year’s London Vet Show, we are really pleased to be joining forces once again.
