We are seeking a European Financial Controller, to be based in our primary manufacturing facility in Portugal and also responsible for our German entity (which covers sales across mainland Europe).
The European Financial Controller will need to be able to work under pressure, with minimum supervision and meet deadlines. Reporting directly into the UK-based Group Head of Finance and working very closely with the Group CFO and Portuguese senior management team (European COO, Portugal Operations Director & Group IT Manager), this individual will need to be an excellent communicator and fluent in both Portuguese and English.
The role of Financial Controller – Portugal & Germany is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing global finance team and play a lead role in continually improving and standardising controls and processes across the Group. In order to succeed in this role, an individual must be comfortable leading by example, ready & willing to get into the detail on a regular basis but able to take a more strategic view when required. Responsible for the accounting, reporting, planning and analysis for two legal entities - CASCO Pet Portugal and CASCO Pet Germany – the Financial Controller will be a key member of the European management team.
